A scooter accident in Butwal has resulted in the death of the rider.
The deceased has been identified as Riva Shrestha, a 21-year-old resident of Ekta Path, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-9.
According to the District Police Office, Rupandehi, the scooter with license plate number Lu 78 Pa 7417 lost control and fell while traveling from Horizon Chowk to Tinkune at around 12:15 last night.
The injured Shrestha was taken to the hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead by the doctor at 12:45.
