On Ashar 30, Houthi rebels claimed to have targeted Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport.
According to the Houthi organization, the airport attack on Sunday used ballistic missiles and drones.
The Houthi rebels stated that the counterattack was in response to airstrikes by Saudi Arabia on Sana’a International Airport in Yemen’s capital.
Houthi rebel spokesperson Yahya Saree issued a statement warning all airlines to stay away from Saudi airspace.
Saree emphasized that airlines should take the warning seriously.
The Houthi rebels stated that actions will continue until the ban on Sana’a International Airport is lifted.
