Government Spokesperson Clarifies on Suspicious Vehicle at Media Gate

On Ashar 30, Kathmandu, Education Minister and Government Spokesperson Sashmit Pokharel clarified the issue of a suspicious vehicle that was placed at the gate of various online news outlets on Sunday.

During a conversation with journalists after the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Spokesperson Pokharel stated that an investigation is underway to determine who was involved in the incident. ‘If the government were involved, the Nepal Police, which falls under the Ministry of Home Affairs, would not have conducted an investigation,’ Pokharel said.

He also assured that the government would take action against anyone found to be involved in the incident. ‘The police are investigating who was involved in this incident. Whoever is found guilty will be punished accordingly,’ Spokesperson Pokharel said.
