Woman Killed in Tehrathum, Another Dies from Electric Shock in Morang

A woman was killed in Tehrathum, while another died from electric shock in Morang, in separate incidents.

In Tehrathum, a 51-year-old woman, Rupa Limbu, was found dead in Simkharka of Aathrai Municipality-6. According to the police, she was stabbed in the neck with a khukuri by 38-year-old Krishna Bahadur Limbu at around 11 pm on the same night. The reason behind the attack is not yet known. The police have taken Krishna into custody and are investigating the incident.

Woman Dies from Electric Shock in Morang

In a separate incident, a 65-year-old woman, Pavitra Bastola, died from electric shock in Urlabari Municipality-4 of Morang. The incident occurred when she came into contact with a grass-cutting machine at her home at around 6:15 pm. She was taken to Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Centre, where she died on Tuesday, according to the District Police Office, Morang.
