PM Shah Holds Talks with Stakeholders of Capital Market and Insurance Sector

Prime Minister Walendra Shah is holding a special meeting with stakeholders of the capital market and insurance sector today.

The meeting, which is being held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, is attended by prominent figures including Gopal Bhatt, Chairman of the Nepal Securities Board (SEBON), Amrit Lamshal, Chairman of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), Sagar Dhakal, President of the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal, Sandeep Jalan, CEO of NASA Securities, Sitaram Thapaliya, former CEO of NEPSE, Navaraj Silwal, CEO of Nepal Life Insurance, and Maheshwarlal Shrestha, CEO of Nagrik Stock Dealer Company Limited.

Priyaraj Regmi and Ambikaprasad Poudel are also scheduled to attend the meeting.

Agenda

The meeting will focus on the current state of the capital market, strengthening the securities business and insurance sector, efforts to reform policies, and various contemporary issues related to the overall national economy.
