The Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies has urged all employees working in its affiliated institutions, organizations, committees, boards, companies, and authorities to submit their property details.
The ministry’s Government Industry and Institution Branch has issued a notice requesting employees to submit their property details for the fiscal year 2082/83.
According to the Corruption Prevention Act, 2059, and the Abuse of Authority Investigation Act, 2048, individuals holding public offices must submit their property details within 60 days of assuming office and every year thereafter.
The ministry has reminded employees of this legal provision and requested them to submit their property details, including those of their family members.
Additionally, the ministry has asked employees who retired in the fiscal year 2082/83 to submit their property details for that year within 60 days of their retirement.
The ministry has specified that the property details should include four main topics: the provision of a unique code to new employees, the mandatory mention of the unique code for existing employees, the entry of property details into the software operated by the National Vigilance Center, and the submission of property details in a specific format.
According to the ministry, the property details should be submitted in a 4×9-inch format, and additional information can be included on the outside of the document.
