Dr. Navaraj Keshi’s essay ‘Swasparsha’ has been selected for the ‘Parijat Kriti Samman 2082’ award by the Parijat Smriti Kendra.
The selection committee, formed to choose the winner, had shortlisted eight works in the first phase. In the narrative category, the shortlisted works included ‘Agnigarbha’ by Archana Thapa, ‘Agnat’ by Keshavraj Jwala, ‘Vijayini’ by Deep Dahal, ‘Salah’ by Shrawan Mukarung, and ‘Dahad’ by Navin Abhilashi.
In the essay category, ‘Swasparsha’ by Dr. Navaraj Keshi and ‘Madhya Ko Ujyalo’ by Bhupin were shortlisted, while ‘Bagawatnama’ by Rima Keshi was selected in the poetry category.
After a thorough study, evaluation, and discussion of the shortlisted works, the selection committee recommended ‘Swasparsha’ for the ‘Parijat Kriti Samman 2082’. The center has decided to award the prize to the recommended work.
According to Dil Sundar Shrestha, general secretary of the Parijat Smriti Kendra, the award will be presented at a special program on Ashar 10, 2083. Shrestha stated that this award has been initiated this year to commemorate Parijat’s literary contributions.
