Five Vehicles Collide in Maharajgunj, 10 Injured

A total of five vehicles collided in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, on Friday, leaving 10 people injured.

The incident occurred at Narayangopal Chowk when an Indian-registered car, BA-06 DDI 6063, collided with a taxi, Ba.2 J 3578, coming from the opposite direction, according to SP Naresh Suvedi of the Valley Traffic Police Office.

Three motorcycles, Bagmati Province-02-068 P 1056, Ba.7 P 3723, and Lu.11 P 4975, also collided with the car and taxi.

The injured include taxi driver Ramche Pako, 41, of Khadadevi, Sarlahi, Bikki Sah, 34, of Sarlahi, Bishnu Maya Khapung, 57, of Tehrathum, Kunti Maya Limbu, 65, of Tokha, Niyojit Sah, 18, of Sarlahi, and Parwati Tamang, 26, of Udayapur.

Others injured in the incident are Jeevan Rana, 22, of Nawalparasi, Vinod Thapa Magar, 25, of Nawalparasi, Shivani Shahi, 15, of Baidnath Municipality-5, Bank, and Sushant Shahi, 10, of Baidnath Municipality-5, Bank.

The injured are undergoing treatment.
