Dang Traffic Police Collect Over Rs 1.5 Billion in Revenue

Traffic police in Dang have taken action against over 14,000 vehicles for not following traffic rules in the last fiscal year 2082/83.

According to Traffic Police Office Dang, 14,563 vehicles were penalized during the period, resulting in a revenue collection of Rs 1.52 billion 60,000 500.

Motorcyclists Top List of Offenders

Chief of the Traffic Police Office, Inspector Keshav Khadka, said that motorcyclists topped the list of offenders, with over 6,000 motorcyclists facing action during the period.

During the last fiscal year, 347 road accidents occurred in the district, resulting in the loss of 72 lives. The victims included 50 men, 19 women, and three children.

The accidents involved 661 vehicles, according to the Traffic Police Office.
