Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav is set to depart for Qatar today at 3:30 pm. He will be visiting Qatar on a three-day official visit to express condolences on behalf of the Government of Nepal on the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During his visit, Vice President Yadav is scheduled to hand over a condolence message from President Ram Chandra Paudel to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Tuesday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal will also be accompanying Vice President Yadav on this visit.
Vice President Yadav is expected to return to Nepal on Ashar 32, 2083.
