Two individuals have been arrested in Nepal for possessing controlled medicines. The arrests were made by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Bhairahawa branch office, on Sunday.
The arrested individuals are 24-year-old Mohammad Afzal Ansari from Susta-7, Sarawal municipality, and 25-year-old Sohit Kumar Kamkar from Palinanda-2. They were arrested from Sugauli, Palinanda-3.
According to Narcotics Control Bureau spokesperson, Police Inspector Durga Raj Regmi, the two were riding a motorcycle with an Indian license plate number UP56F 9529. During a check, the authorities found Buprenorphine, Diazepam, and Phenargan 1935 ampoules in their possession.
Both arrested individuals have been taken into custody by the Maheshpur Area Police Office, Navalparasi, for further investigation.
