Baghlung. The Middle Hill Highway has been blocked due to a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall since Sunday. The landslide occurred in the Inarpani area of Kathekhola Gaunpalika-6, Baglung-Burtibang section of the highway.

According to information provided by Police Inspector Rameshwar Twati of the District Police Office, the road has been blocked due to a massive landslide caused by continuous rainfall since Sunday.

As a result of the roadblock, vehicles traveling to Pokhara and Kathmandu have been unable to move. Additionally, buses traveling from Kathmandu to Burtibang, Rolpa, Rukum, Dolpa, and other parts of western Nepal have been stranded on the road.

Police Inspector Twati stated that the road is blocked by a massive landslide and large boulders, which will take some time to clear. He said, “A massive landslide has occurred on the road, and it cannot be cleared immediately. However, efforts are being made to clear the road.”
