Madhes Province Assembly Meeting to Present Budget-Related Committee Report

The Madhes Province Assembly meeting is scheduled to take place today at 1:00 pm. The meeting will present a report from the committee formed to resolve issues related to the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 budget, according to Province Assembly Secretary Vashuprasad Koirla.

The committee, which was formed on Ashar 28, 2083, includes Province Assembly members Upendra Mahato, Harinarayan Mahato, Jangilal Rai, Promod Kumar Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Bimala Ansari Tarun, and Sarita Kumari Thakur.

The committee’s report will be discussed, followed by a discussion on the appropriation bill for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.

Madhes Province Finance Minister Yubaraj Bhatterai had presented a budget of Rs 41 billion 13 crores 86 lakhs for the upcoming fiscal year, prioritizing agriculture innovation, entrepreneurship promotion, education, and health sectors.
