A truck driver was killed in an accident in Palpa’s Tinawe municipality on the night of Shrawan 29, 2083.
The deceased has been identified as Hem Bahadur Lamteri, 35, of Sisuwak in Tinawe municipality-3.
The accident occurred when a truck with license plate number Lu 2 Kha 1719 lost control and fell about 120 meters into a river while traveling from Butwal to Palpa’s district headquarters, Tansen.
Rescue and Treatment
A police team from the Dobhan Police Post in Palpa rescued the driver and sent him to Butwal for treatment.
However, Lamteri died while undergoing treatment at the Mission Hospital in Butwal, according to the District Police Office in Palpa.
