Politics Can Change Anything, Even the Power Equation: Jeevan Bahadur Shahi

Following the resignation of four Nepali Congress ministers from the Karnali Province government, political tensions have escalated.

According to Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, former Chief Minister and leader of the Nepali Congress in the Karnali Province, the ministers resigned as per the agreement between the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML.

Shahi stated that the ministers were supposed to resign after the budget was passed, and the party is now waiting for the next move from the CPN-UML.

He added that the party is open to changing the government or just the ministers, depending on the situation.

When asked if he was trying to put pressure on the current Chief Minister, Yam Lal Kandel, to step down, Shahi denied it, saying that the party is not trying to pressure anyone.

He also mentioned that the party is in talks with other parties, including the CPN-UML and the Maoist Center, to explore possibilities for the future.

Shahi emphasized that in politics, anything can happen, and the party is prepared for any eventuality.
