According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, a total of 3,435 disasters have occurred in the country since Vaisakh, resulting in the loss of 166 lives.
As per the authority, 988 people have been injured in these disasters, while 4,531 households have been affected.
The authority reported that the majority of these disasters were fire-related incidents, with 914 such cases recorded in the four-month period.
Other disasters included snake bites (535), lightning strikes (229), drowning (55), animal attacks (190), storms (478), landslides (495), and floods (171).
Additionally, there were 166 cases of heavy rainfall, one case of a boat capsizing, 191 cases of landslides, two cases of hailstorms, four cases of acid burns, and four other types of disasters.
Between Ashar 2 and 3, a total of 58 disasters occurred across the country, resulting in three deaths and 13 injuries, with 45 districts affected.
