Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Bishmaraj Angdembe has questioned the legitimacy of the government led by Prime Minister Walen Shah, saying it is unclear where the government is headed.
Speaking at a memorial service and book launch event in Baglung on Friday, Angdembe said the government’s actions are not in line with parliamentary norms, democratic practices, and good governance.
He expressed concern that the country may be heading towards a crisis due to the government’s style of governance.
Angdembe also criticized the government’s handling of various issues, including the constitutional council, ordinances, and land management.
He said the government has failed to fulfill its commitments to the people and has not been able to bring about the desired changes in the country.
Angdembe urged the government to correct its course and work towards fulfilling its commitments to the people.
