NP Saud Urges Unity Among Party Leaders

Nepali Congress leader NP Saud has urged party leaders to unite, stating that those who did not attend the special general convention are not inferior.

Speaking at an event commemorating the 44th anniversary of BP Koirala, Saud expressed his concerns about the party’s current state, saying it is unclear and divided.

He appealed to the party leadership to come together, emphasizing that the party’s future depends on unity.

‘Today, 80% of the people have been jailed, suffered, and been beaten by the party, and are still fighting for the party’s future,’ Saud said at the event held at the Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu.

‘Therefore, I want to urge the leaders who attended the special general convention to come together with the comrades present here,’ he added.

Unity is Key

Saud emphasized that the party workers present at the event are the backbone of the Nepali Congress, and that they should work together to achieve their goals.

‘As long as you believe that the battle can only be won by fighting together, the Nepali Congress cannot be established,’ Saud said.

He warned that if the party leaders do not take the initiative to unite, there will be risks for the party.

Saud’s speech was seen as an attempt to bridge the gap between the party leaders who attended the special general convention and those who did not.
