A total of 10 judges serving at the High Courts and Benches in Nepal have delivered the highest number of verdicts in the current fiscal year 2082/83, according to a preliminary performance report made public by the Supreme Court on Thursday.
As per the report, the top performing judges have been identified based on their performance at the High Courts and Benches across the country.
The report, however, does not disclose the names of the judges or the number of cases they have disposed of.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has also made public the performance report of the High Courts and Benches, which shows the number of cases filed, disposed of, and pending at these courts.
According to the report, a total of 1,04,111 cases were filed at the High Courts and Benches in the current fiscal year, while 93,454 cases were disposed of.
The report also shows that 1,01,469 cases are pending at the High Courts and Benches as of Ashar 29, 2083.
