A large quantity of illicit liquor and a vehicle used to transport it have been seized by the Armed Police Force in Siraha.
The liquor, worth approximately 2.1 million rupees, was found in a white Maruti Suzuki car with license plate number DL-7 9792.
According to the Armed Police Force, the seizure was made during a mobile patrol by a 9-member team from the Inarwa-based Border Security Battalion at around 2:05 am on Ashar 29, 2083.
The liquor seized includes Black Oak, Arna Can Beer, Baharasinge Beer, and Kasturi liquor.

The total estimated value of the seized liquor and vehicle is 2,127,210 rupees, according to SP Sumanjung Thapa Magar, chief of the Armed Police Force No. 7 Unit in Siraha.
The driver of the vehicle, however, managed to escape.
