A recent survey conducted in the United States has revealed that a majority of Americans believe that starting a war against Iran would be a wrong decision.

The survey, conducted jointly by YouGov and The Economist, found that 57% of respondents believed that going to war with Iran would be a mistake. Only 27% of those surveyed thought it would be the right decision.

The survey also showed that Americans are pessimistic about the duration of the war. 46% of respondents believed that the war would last at least a year or longer, while only 8% thought it would be over within a month or was already over.

The survey’s findings suggest that Americans are increasingly skeptical about the idea of going to war with Iran, with many believing that it would be a prolonged and costly conflict.
