Lawmakers Question Government Over Fertilizer Distribution

Lawmakers have drawn the government’s attention to the irregularities in the supply and distribution of chemical fertilizers.

The issue was raised during a meeting of the Federal Parliament’s Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee on Friday.

Committee members pointed out the contradiction between the government’s claim of having a stockpile of fertilizers in its warehouses and the scarcity faced by farmers.
