Fake Management Committee at Bhote Koshi Resort

A fake management committee has been formed at Bhote Koshi Helicopter Resort Limited, a company listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange.

The company’s chairman, Deependra Agrawal, has been accused of forming the fake committee and submitting false documents to the Company Registrar’s Office.

According to sources, Agrawal had taken over the management of the resort after the previous investors had sold their shares to him. However, he has failed to pay the bank loan of Rs 32 crore, which has led to a dispute with the previous investors.

The previous investors had agreed to sell their shares to Agrawal on the condition that he would pay the bank loan and take over the management of the resort. However, Agrawal has failed to fulfill his commitments, leading to a dispute.

The Company Registrar’s Office has accepted the fake committee formed by Agrawal, which has led to a controversy. The previous investors have filed a complaint with the Company Registrar’s Office, alleging that Agrawal had formed the fake committee without their knowledge or consent.

The resort is currently operational, but the dispute between Agrawal and the previous investors is ongoing. The Company Registrar’s Office has started an investigation into the matter.

Umesh Gupta, one of the directors of the company, has also filed a complaint with the Company Registrar’s Office, alleging that his signature was forged on the documents submitted by Agrawal. Gupta has denied any involvement in the fake committee and has demanded that his name be removed from the list of directors.

The incident has raised concerns about the corporate governance and regulatory oversight in Nepal’s capital market.
