New Delhi. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the closure of 16 metro stations in the city.
The DMRC made the announcement on Wednesday at 11:27 am, according to Indian media reports. The corporation also released a list of the 16 metro stations on social media platform X, stating, “These metro stations will remain closed until further notice. However, interchange facilities will be available at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat.”
The 16 metro stations closed by the DMRC are: Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhamba Road, Supreme Court, Shivaji Stadium, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, and Shivaji Stadium.
