Shankar Agrawal, the chairman of Shankar Group, has been arrested by the police in connection with a bank fraud case. Agrawal, who was on the run, was taken into custody by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Nepal Police from the Dilli Bazaar area on Wednesday.
According to Additional Inspector General Uma Prasad Chaturbedi, head of the CIB, Agrawal will be presented in court. The arrest comes after a long search for Agrawal, who was accused of bank fraud.
