Kanchanpur. A woman has died after being assaulted by her husband in Kanchanpur.
The incident occurred at Fagire Chowk in Ward No. 10 of Dodhara Chandani Municipality. 45-year-old Ran Bahadur Sunar had beaten his 42-year-old wife, Paru Sunar.
Paru, who was injured in the assault, was taken to Dodhara Chandani Hospital for treatment. She was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday but passed away on Thursday morning.
Her husband, Ran Bahadur, has been arrested by the local police and is currently under investigation.
The police are looking into the incident and have not released any further details.
