Washington D.C. The United States has stated that it will not hinder the return of Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado to her home country.
The US Department of State’s policy on this matter is clear, according to Luis Mendoza, Deputy Assistant Secretary for South America.
Mendoza stated that the US will not create any obstacles for Machado’s return, emphasizing the importance of respecting the rights and freedoms of Venezuelan citizens.
Machado had been living in exile due to her opposition to the Venezuelan government, but has expressed her desire to return to her country.
The US announcement comes as a significant development in the ongoing situation in Venezuela, where opposition leaders have been facing challenges and restrictions.
