Two Women Found Unconscious Near Temple in Nepal Die

Two women who were found unconscious near a temple in the Gaidakot municipality of Nawalparasi district have died while undergoing treatment.

The deceased have been identified as 38-year-old Kabita Rai from Baglung, who was living in Gaidakot municipality-12, and 45-year-old Kanchhi Rai from Bhojpur, who was working at a cow farm in Gaidakot municipality-10.

The cause of their death has not been ascertained yet, and an investigation into the incident is underway, according to Anil Pandit, information officer at the Nawalparasi district police office.

The women were found unconscious near the Akalmai temple on Sunday afternoon by locals, who then informed the police. A police team from the temporary police post in Beldehi was deployed to the scene.

The police took the women to the district hospital in Bharatpur, where they were declared dead by the doctors.
