The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee has set the maximum wholesale prices for today’s agricultural products.
According to the committee, the prices are as follows: large Nepali eggplants at Rs 50 per kilogram, small local eggplants at Rs 20 per kilogram, small tunnel eggplants at Rs 35 per kilogram, red potatoes (long) at Rs 48 per kilogram, red potatoes (round) at Rs 47 per kilogram, red potatoes (mudhe) at Rs 47 per kilogram, red potatoes (Indian) at Rs 35 per kilogram, and dried onions (Indian) at Rs 57 per kilogram.
Other prices include local carrots at Rs 120 per kilogram, tarai carrots at Rs 100 per kilogram, local beans at Rs 30 per kilogram, local cauliflower at Rs 80 per kilogram, hybrid white radish at Rs 35 per kilogram, and long bhanta at Rs 50 per kilogram.
The committee has also set prices for other vegetables, including tomatoes, peas, and various types of leafy greens.
In addition, prices for fruits have been set, including apples, bananas, and oranges.
Prices for spices and other items, such as ginger, garlic, and fish, have also been set.
