Nepal Economic Journalists’ Association (NAFIJ) has awarded three economic journalists for their contributions to economic, cooperative, and insurance journalism.
The awards were presented by Energy Minister Viraj Bhatt Shrestha at an interaction program titled ‘Challenges of Electricity Infrastructure Development and the Way Forward’ held in the capital on Thursday.
This year’s Bharat Mohan Adhikari NAFIJ Economic Journalism Award was given to Suresh Bidari, who is associated with Setopati.com.
Rita Raut of Nepal Press Dot Com received the Bharat Mohan Adhikari NAFIJ Cooperative Journalism Award.
Rina Khatri of Insurance Post Dot Com was awarded the Nepal Insurers’ Association-NAFIJ Insurance Journalism Award.
NAFIJ stated that the awards were given in recognition of the contributions made by the journalists in their respective fields.
