Hetauda. A scooter rider who was swept away by the Simkhola River in Makwanpur’s Indrasarovar rural municipality-2 has been found dead.
The body of the rider was found about 200 meters downstream from the incident site, a day after the scooter was recovered from the river.
The incident occurred near the Kulikhani dam, where the Simkhola River had overflowed due to heavy rainfall.
