Rei Ami has spoken about the life-changing success of the animated movie ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, which was released in 2025.
The singer, who voiced the character Zoey in the film, became emotional when discussing its impact, saying she is ‘so proud, so eternally grateful for the fans and the community we built’.
Rei Ami’s involvement in the movie came at a crucial time in her career, as she had previously considered quitting the music industry just months before landing the role.
However, the film’s success has now led to a resurgence in her music career, with Rei Ami achieving double platinum sales.
She has announced plans to release new music, including a single and album, and will also embark on a tour.
Upcoming Projects
In addition to her music, Rei Ami will also team up with fellow ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ star Ken Jeong to host a new show called ‘KPop Shark Heroes’ as part of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel.
