Nolan Wells Funeral Held in Mississippi

Nolan Wells’ family and friends gathered to bid their final farewell to the 18-year-old, whose life was cut short.

The funeral service took place at Center Pointe Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where Reverend Al Sharpton officiated and family attorney Ben Crump called for justice.

During his remarks, Reverend Sharpton announced a $50,000 reward for anyone who comes forward with information about Nolan’s death, which will be matched by Tyler Perry.

Nolan went missing after traveling by boat with friends to Horn Island for a Fourth of July gathering. His friends returned to the mainland without him, and his body was found two days later on Horn Island.

According to his friends, Nolan chose to stay behind, believing he could catch another ride. However, his parents have publicly questioned this account.

Ben Crump is conducting an independent investigation, while official autopsy and toxicology results are still pending. The findings are expected to be presented to a grand jury.

Colin Kaepernick has paid for an independent autopsy, and Tyler Perry has covered the funeral expenses.
