Prachanda Urges Strong Party Formation in Madhesh Province

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has emphasized the need for a strong party formation in Madhesh Province, warning that failure to do so could lead to significant setbacks for the country and the communist movement.

Addressing a gathering of Madhesh Province committee members and cadres in Janakpur, Prachanda stated that Madhesh Province holds immense potential and challenges due to its population and development prospects, making it a priority for the party’s political organization.

He noted that if the party can be strengthened in Madhesh, it will become a powerful force for the party, the province, and the entire Madhesh movement in the days to come. However, if this cannot be achieved, the country and the communist movement may face severe consequences.

‘If we can build a strong party in Madhesh, we can create a powerful force for the party, Madhesh, and the entire Madhesh movement in the future,’ Prachanda said. ‘If we fail to build a strong party in Madhesh, the country and the communist movement may face significant setbacks.’

Prachanda informed that the NCP has given high priority to party formation in Madhesh and will effectively implement organizational expansion, increased public contact, and activist mobilization. During the program, he administered the oath of office to newly elected members of the Madhesh Province committee.

He also expressed his commitment to moving forward by incorporating suggestions received from party leaders and cadres during various interactions.
