A 59-year-old man has been arrested in Biratnagar with a pistol and narcotics.
Lalkishore Yadav was arrested from his home in Jhutiyahi, Budhanagar, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-18, on Wednesday night.
According to DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra, information officer of Morang Police, a search of Yadav’s home yielded a pistol, 3 grams 07 milligrams of brown heroin, and 8 grams 48 milligrams of marijuana.
The arrested Yadav has been kept in the Area Police Office, Ranibazaar, for further investigation, said DSP Mishra.
Police are preparing to file a case against Yadav under the Arms and Narcotics Act.
