Pokhara Clears Commercial Structures from Proposed Bus Park Area

Pokhara Metropolitan City has removed commercial structures from the proposed bus park area in Prithvichok of Pokhara Metropolitan City-9, and initiated the process of managing the squatters.

The metropolitan city has cleared more than 500 structures, including the Basantapur Complex and other commercial sheds, from the bus park area.

The cleared structures were built on public land, and the metropolitan city has stated that it will now proceed with the construction of the bus park.

The removal of the structures is expected to facilitate the development of the bus park, which has been delayed for several years due to the presence of squatters and commercial establishments in the area.

The metropolitan city has assured that it will provide alternative arrangements for the affected squatters and business owners.
