The Nepse index has fallen by 13.95 points, closing at 2712.54 points. The trading volume has also decreased compared to the previous day.
According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse), the total trading volume was Rs 5.18 billion, with 1.13 million shares traded. The sensitive index also fell by 2.10 points, closing at 470.31 points.
The float index and sensitive float index fell by 0.41% and 0.36%, respectively. A total of 346 companies’ shares were traded, with 77 companies’ share prices increasing and 193 companies’ share prices decreasing. The share prices of 7 companies remained stable.
The finance and production and processing groups’ indices increased, while the remaining 11 groups’ indices fell. The commercial bank group’s index fell by 0.27%, and the development bank group’s index fell by 0.24%. The hotel and tourism group’s index fell by 0.31%, and the hydropower group’s index fell by 0.57%.
The Everest Color Limited’s investors earned a profit of 14.99%, while the NCC Debenture-2086’s investors lost 7.16% of their share value. The Ridi Power Company Limited was the top traded company in terms of trading volume, with a total trading volume of Rs 430.8 million.
