Nepal’s Vice-President Yadav Returns Home

Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has returned home after a three-day official visit to Qatar.

Yadav had left for Qatar on Tuesday to pay condolences on behalf of the Government of Nepal to the former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Upon his return, Vice-President Yadav was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport’s VIP lounge by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal. Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and other high-ranking officials were also present.

During his visit, Vice-President Yadav met with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday and handed over a condolence message from President Ram Chandra Paudel. Senior officials of the Government of Nepal were also present during the meeting.
