Nepal’s Property Probe Commission Suspends Operations

Kathmandu. The Property Probe Commission has suspended all its activities related to the collection and investigation of property details.

The Commission issued a notice today stating that the work has been suspended until the final hearing of the writ petition, in accordance with the order of the Supreme Court dated Ashar 29, 2083.

The Commission was collecting property details of public officials who have held responsible positions, excluding former judges, former heads of constitutional bodies, and former heads of the Nepal Army.

The Commission had set a deadline for submitting property details, which was supposed to end today.
