A Nepali army officer’s wife is under investigation for alleged corruption and money laundering, according to the country’s anti-graft body.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has written to the Nepal Army’s headquarters, asking for an investigation into Captain Sufal KC, the wife of Pradeep Adhikari, a former director-general of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Captain KC is a technical second lieutenant in the Nepal Army. The CIAA has alleged that she was involved in a land deal with a contractor who was involved in the construction of an airport.

The anti-graft body has accused Adhikari of taking bribes and laundering money through his wife’s bank account. The CIAA has also claimed that Adhikari’s wife was involved in the land deal and that she had used her husband’s influence to acquire the land.

The CIAA has asked the Nepal Army to investigate Captain KC and take necessary action against her. The anti-graft body has also asked the army to investigate whether Captain KC’s husband had used his influence to help his wife acquire the land.

The investigation is part of a larger probe into corruption in the Nepal Army. The CIAA has been investigating several high-ranking army officers for alleged corruption and money laundering.
