The Government of Nepal has initiated preparations for the operation of hydrogen-based vehicles in the country.
The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development has requested suggestions from stakeholders for the necessary policy, law, and standards for the safe, sustainable, and effective development and operation of hydrogen vehicles.
The ministry has issued a notice calling for written suggestions from universities, research institutions, professional bodies, industries, development partners, international organizations, and other concerned parties.
Stakeholders can submit their suggestions based on their studies, research, and practices to the ministry’s email by Ashar 20, 2083.
The ministry will utilize the received suggestions to prepare a policy, legal, and technical framework.
It has specifically requested suggestions focused on international best practices, regulatory systems, safety standards, and human resource development.
