Kathmandu. Amidst the fluctuations in the international market prices of petroleum products, the Nepal Oil Corporation has decided to keep the current fuel prices unchanged.

According to a press release issued by the corporation’s spokesperson Manoj Kumar Thakur on Wednesday, the decision was made not to adjust the prices immediately based on the new purchase prices received from the Indian Oil Corporation.

The decision was made by the corporation’s board of directors on Wednesday, stating that the existing retail prices will remain in effect from 12:01 AM on Shrawan 1, 2083.

As a result, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 194.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 196 in the second category, and Rs 197 in the third category. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene has been fixed at Rs 192.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 194 in the second category, and Rs 195 in the third category.

The corporation has classified different locations and fixed prices accordingly.
