Nepal’s recent floods have caused significant disruptions to the country’s transportation network, with six major road sections completely blocked and 11 others partially operational.
According to the Road Department, 33 roads that were previously blocked have been repaired and reopened. The department’s Director General, Vijay Jaisi, stated that efforts are underway to clear the blocked roads using heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, and loaders.
The floods have affected various parts of the country, with the Road Department working to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.
