Dhangadhi. The Sudurpashchim Provincial Parliamentary Party of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has called a meeting of the party’s parliamentary party.

The meeting, scheduled for Friday morning at 11 am at the provincial parliamentary party office, is expected to make important decisions regarding the formation of the Sudurpashchim government.

Following the dismissal of NCP (UML) ministers from the government by Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah, the power dynamics in the province have changed. The UML has already decided to withdraw its support for Chief Minister Shah’s government.

With the UML’s withdrawal of support, Chief Minister Shah has fallen into a minority. He had requested the NCP’s support to pass the budget, but the party has refused, stating that it will not support the current government until its conditions are met.

The NCP has stated that it will not support either the Nepali Congress or the UML in forming a government until its conditions are met.
