Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has directed his federal lawmakers to present public voices in parliament in a strong manner, based on facts, arguments, and studies.

Speaking at a training program organized by the party’s central parliamentary department at the party’s central office in Kathmandu, former Prime Minister Oli expressed his confidence that effective participation in parliament would make democratic practices stronger.

"A strong opposition is not just about criticizing the government. We have organized this training to link political experience with knowledge, research, and intellectual capacity," he said, "You should set a new standard for a responsible and visionary opposition by making public voices heard in policy-making, based on facts and evidence, and making the government more accountable."

The program was also addressed by party Vice-Chairmen Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ and Prithvi Subba Gurung, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, and Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Padma Kumari Aryal, among others.
