Mustang Customs Seizes Smuggled Goods Worth Over Rs 4 Million

Mustang Police have seized smuggled goods worth over Rs 4 million from a vehicle heading towards Pokhara.

The goods were seized during a regular check at the Lete checkpoint in Thasang Rural Municipality-3.

According to Inspector Ishwor Mahat of the District Police Office, the seized goods include shoes, jeans, trousers, and T-shirts, among others.

The vehicle, a Mahendra Bolero jeep, was carrying goods worth around Rs 4,358,000 without proper customs documentation.

The police have taken the vehicle, driver, and the person carrying the goods into custody and handed them over to the Mustang Customs Office for further action.

The name of the person carrying the goods has not been disclosed for investigation purposes.
