A 40-year-old man has gone missing after being swept away by the Darau River in Gorkha, Nepal.
According to the District Police Office in Gorkha, Shamsher Nepali, a resident of Jhyawak in Ajirkot Municipality-4, was carried away by the river while trying to cross it at Talphute Ghats on Thursday.
Police Naib Sub-Inspector Raj Kumar Shrestha said that a search operation is underway to locate the missing man, who has been unaccounted for since 1:00 pm on Thursday.
