Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Administrative Building Construction Progresses 35%

Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s new administrative building construction has made significant progress, with 35% of the physical work completed.

The construction of the eight-story building, located on a 6-ropani land in Teku, has been ongoing since Chaitra 22, 2083.

According to Project Director Mahesh Bhattarai, the project has achieved 35% physical progress and 30% financial progress within a short period of 94 days.

Bhattarai stated that the basement construction has been completed, and preparations are underway for the basement cover slab casting.

Target Completion Date

The project aims to complete the construction before the targeted completion date of Kartik 22, 2084.

Bhattarai mentioned that 70 skilled and unskilled workers are currently working at the construction site, along with 10 technical personnel, including the project manager and site supervisor.

He assured that all necessary safety measures and protocols are being followed at the construction site.

Bhattarai said, ‘We started the project on Chaitra 22, 2083, and today we have completed 94 days. We have made 30% financial progress and 35% physical progress. Our final deadline is Kartik 22, 2084, and we are working to complete the project before that date.’

The construction of the administrative building is being carried out on a 6-ropani land in Teku, with Acting Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol visiting the site to monitor the progress.

Dangol has instructed the construction company to complete the project on time.
