Kathmandu. The absconder from the Jenji movement, who had escaped from the Central Jail Jaggannathdewal, has been arrested.
The arrested is 42-year-old Darjibahadur Tamang from Gokarneshwar Municipality-3, Suntakhanak, Kathmandu.
According to SSP Anupam Shamsher Rana, Tamang was arrested by a team from the Central Investigation Bureau while hiding at his home on Wednesday.
Background
Tamang was arrested on 23 Ashwin, 2072, and was sentenced to 22 years in prison by the court on 28 Mangsir, 2074.
He had escaped on 24 Bhadra during the Jenji movement.
Tamang has been sent to Sundhara Jail by the police.
