Kathmandu. An Indian national has been arrested with a pistol in Siraha. The arrested is 26-year-old Roshankumar Yadav from Madhubani, Bihar, India.
According to Siraha Police Spokesperson Police Inspector Ramesh Bahadur Pal, Yadav was arrested at 5 am on Thursday while heading towards Birgunj via the inner road of Hulaki Road Section in Siraha Municipality-7.
Yadav was riding a motorcycle with the license plate number BR07EZ 4215. He had hidden a pistol and two bullets inside a nylon bag containing potatoes, onions, and other vegetables tied to the motorcycle’s handle.
The District Police Office has taken Yadav into custody and started an investigation into the case of arms and ammunition.
